There are currently 5 Public Access AEDs in Lusk. These AEDs are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. They are stored in cabinets that are protected by access codes. Our map below shows the locations. It's important to know where your nearest AED is. A huge thank you to Lusk Action Group who shared these locations on their social media and on posters throughout Lusk (see below).

To access these AEDs, call 999/122 and the operator will give you a code to open the cabinet. Take the AED and the kit to the patient.
If you use one of these AEDs or you notice that an AED has been tampered with, please contact Lusk CFR immediately by email.
The Lusk CFR volunteers carry out regular checks on the AEDs to ensure that they are ready if there is an sudden cardiac arrest in the area.
Lusk Community First Responders are eager to increase the number of public access AEDs in Lusk. If you are aware of other AEDs in the area that could be linked to the National Ambulance Service or if you or your business would like to sponsor an AED and heated cabinet in our community, please email us.
Please note that if you club or office has an AED, it doesn't have to be stored outside to be registered, even AEDs that are accessible during limited hours can be registered with the National Ambulance Service.
